1.From OTR Casing to Processable Sections
An oversized OTR casing can slow down the beginning of a recycling operation. The QDY unit is placed at this early point to remove the two bead areas and divide the casing into separate pieces. This makes the material easier to handle before the next treatment stage.
The cut pieces can be directed to different equipment according to the project plan. Possible destinations include a tire shredder, rubber granulator, or steel wire separator. Some customers may plan a later pyrolysis or fuel-related application. The suitable route must be confirmed from the material condition and the required final product.

2.Main Points for Plant Operators
The QDY cutter is built around a two-cylinder hydraulic drive and a thick alloy blade. This combination is intended for large rubber sections and repeated cutting work. The blade will wear at a different rate according to the tire material and working conditions.
The operator uses the PLC panel for the main controls. An emergency stop is available when the machine needs to be stopped quickly. Training and the supplied operating instructions remain important parts of safe use.
This cutter is not limited to one line layout. It may be placed before a tire shredder, rubber granulator, steel wire separator, conveyor, or another selected unit. The connection should be planned around the available space and the next process.
The supplier refers to short cutting times for suitable scrap tire conditions. This is a reference, not a fixed promise for every job. Tire diameter, rubber thickness, steel wire content, material condition, model, and operator method can affect the actual result.

4.Sorting the Output After Cutting
Cut sections should be separated and placed according to the next stage of the project. Rubber pieces may go to size reduction or granulation. Steel-containing parts may need a suitable separation step before further rubber processing. This makes it easier for the operator to track different materials in the yard.
The quality and final use of each material depend on its composition, cleanliness, size, and the equipment used later. A customer may plan rubber granules, rubber powder, recovered steel, or another output. The otr tire recycling arrangement should therefore be matched with the customer's material plan rather than a fixed product route.
5.Planning the Working Area
A practical site plan should leave room for tire loading, cutter operation, section removal, and temporary storage. The entry path must allow the largest incoming tire to reach the machine. The exit side should leave enough space for workers or conveyors to move the cut sections to the next unit.
Maintenance access is also important. Operators need a clear area around the machine for inspection, cleaning, and routine work. When a shredder, separator, granulator, or conveyor is added, the connection direction should be checked before installation. These points help the project team arrange the otr tire recycling equipment around the real site conditions.
